My method id kind of odd I think...I wrap the yarn around a tube or a glass (like a high-ball) slide off the yarn, tie it in the center (very tight with the yarn doubled over for strength)and then trim. For small ones I just wrap the yarn around my fingers. Hope that helps!

these look wonderful! how do you get them so full and tight?? do you use a (store bought) pompom maker or do you use a diy version from cardboard?
